50 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN

50 books before K is an extra special introduction to literacy. We have carefully selected 50 books that we think every child should read before they start Kindergarten.

Exercise this life-changing challenge with your child(ren); cuddle up close before bed, read in the park, or hang out at the library together!

Finish every book on the checklist before the end of summer, and receive a Certificate of Completion and a prize! You'll also get a fancy letter from the librarian to give to your brand new teacher on the very first day of school! Click HEREto see the booklist in our catalogue or pop-in to pick up a paper copy of the checklist!

READER'S ADVISORY

Not sure what to read next? The team at BUPL can provide you with suggestions tailored just for you with our Reader Advisory form!

LITTLE FREE PANTRY & PUBLIC GARDENS

The Little Free Pantry is open for public use, but for your safety, we ask only a few things:

1. Take what you want, leave what you can.
2. DO NOT add sharp items, drugs/alcohol, or opened/expired goods.
3. Take at your own risk (please watch for hornets in the warmer seasons!)

We also offer three raised garden beds on the East side of the building, close to the LFP, for you to access. When things are ready to be picked, please help yourself! The raised beds on the West side of the building belong to the Community Garden Program and are not open to the public.

Thank you for your cooperation!
